Now I wish I could ask someone … if Bodog is going to come to phoenix and do one of those “Fighter profiles” that they did in Season One.

caught the st. petersburg fights last night, not a bad show…not a great show, but not bad either. ya’ll have a pretty good stable of fighters, but the second fight way so far out of balance it was like watching me fight Fedor. It was disapointing to see such build up followed by such a terrible performance by ‘the counrty boy’. the other thing that i HAVE to speak on is the lackluster announcing. the guys who were supposed to adding excitment and insight to the fight just were’nt. they were dull and only commented on a strike or submission attempt AFTER it had happened. the few times they did try to say what might happen next, they were dead wrong. ive been an MMA fan since Royce Gracie won the first UFC tourny, and the production reminded me of those days. Im not saying thats bad, the feel weas raw, and the fighters really wanted to make an impact, for that, ill definatly keep my eye on your league, but please…get some announcers who care about what they are watching, or at least get them some coffee or redbull! Ive never heard the phrase “what and exciting fight we are witnessing” delivered with so little excitement!

Comments on Episode 3 season 2.
Production Quality
I still loath the Tank crosshairs on unarmed civilians. It looks like a massacre comming.
But good pace of the show. Song at the end was kinda the wrong song for the mood.
Announcers
Jon has valid comments about the Announcers.
Bodog girls
are Amazingly sexy, impressive, and at Sports illustrated level. Real boobs-No heavy make up-natural hair-no thinned eye brows-no banana eating smiles just good sexy looks.
Fighters
Are good quality Migel Iterate desirves some recognition for finding higher quality of fighers this season.
Jons comment
about the 2nd fight being not closely matched. I dont understand jons comment. Both Heavyweight fights were impressive. 3 of the 4 heavyweights were fit and had agility. Like the annoucer said they moved like 150 lbers. Except Jeremy Constant he should be rightfully criticized for his lack of endurance. Jeremy was so tanked out that he had trouble just standing back on his feet. Jermy Did have Good wrestling agility however and was crafty.
the Heavy weight fighers were intiminating they looked impressive.
First fight
Such an active fight I cant remember it all. I was glad to see some good kicks. Both spinning back kicks and spinning heel kicks were used. ZENTSOV knows that if he fought MIDOUX 10 fights Midoux would proabley win 5 of them. It could of went either way. Zentsov got it done impressive agility.
2nd Fight
Jeremy has the philosophy of wrestling I like ..he was reflex-reacting not thinking then reacting. Cain has the Fighters Metality I like. He is not drinking nor partying and focused. I thought the Choke was sunk but Cain didn’t let it stop him. Cain didnt have the boxers head-Dodge and took a few hits.
Predictions
I will root for who ever the best fighter is. And Zentsov should go out and try to Jar Cains head in every direction thats been invented.
I will say betting odds are 5 to 3 for ZENTSOV. mostly because I am unsure of Cains ablity to Avoid a direct punch.
If I were to give advice to Cain I would say to Challange Zentzov in everything out punch him out kick him out manuver him. And Cain should out work Zentsov till he cant walk by the 2nd round.
My advice to Zentsov is to throw in towel tap out at the beginning of the fight because i dont want him to win. JUst kidding
Jons comment on first UFC
I agree. the first 1993 tourney was exciting because it had the element of not knowing what to expect. I still prefere a tournement over the single fights. The Trade off is less explosive fights and fighers winning in more long fought grappling fights. But thats what the “best” should be about .. an 8 man tournement. And I like the UFC ring better.
And I liked the “developmental” leauge feel of the first UFCs. Finding out who the best fighter is. I do not like just Blood for amusment. This level of fighting should only be reserved for the best . Its too rough of a sport .
Like jon says keep it RAW which means Invent don’t immitate. which means try different ring sizes different rules different stuff.
Best
Just make Bodogfight’s mission statement “Be about being the Best” and everything else will fall in place. If its truely about the Best the best fighers will show up and the people will show up.
And if Bodog fight comes to Phoenix Arizona let me know. Hook me up with a Bodog girl that doesnt speak english but is a good kisser.
