Some exciting developments of late… for instance:

We’ll be building an all-BodogGirls pages for the upcoming season 3 site. We’ll have all kinds of hot pictures and videos - likely including some pretty racy stuff. Major T&A alert.

And on that note, we’ve received the preliminary go-ahead to post a lot of content I’d deem “adult.” This means more gore, more “strong language,” and likely even some stuff that will require you to enter your age before viewing. Why would we do that? Because we don’t give a fuck.

Furthermore, the third season’s site will include a hell of a lot more extra footage: outtakes, bloopers, uncut and uncensored stuff - even that video where that one fighter screwed up the script and won the fight instead of lost. Oh man, what a dope. We had to re-shoot the whole fight.

Just got word that the fighter liaison team is in the process of picking fighters for our upcoming shows. Is there anyone out there that you think would be a good pick for the show?

Think “big personality.” There’s a million good fighters out there - we want someone with some attitude, not a big dumb lug with nothing to say. Opinions?

Just got word that BodogFight: Fedor vs. Lindland will be held in one of St. Petersburg’s famous Ice Palaces. The venue is apparently a “frozen replica of a legendary 18th century structure made from three tons of ice.” Should look kick-ass on HD.

BBC Online has a photo gallery showing one of these palaces. Not sure if it’s the same one yet…

Just got word that the Fedor v Lindland PPV itself is going to be broadcast on a variety of networks - this time in Canada as well. Also, it looks like TV viewers will get to see only about 6-7 fights while event attendees are getting something like 15 thanks to a bursting undercard.

So if you live in the St. Petersburg area, go get some damn tickets. As soon as I find out where you can buy tickets from I’ll post it here.

Fight observers will remember the name Derrick Noble, once a contender for the welterweight title. Sadly, Derrick lost that title to rocketing up-and-comer Eddie Alvarez - but he’s won every fight since then and is working his way back up to the top. Can he reclaim the glory he lost against the unstoppable Alvarez?

And, of course, this episode features a fight I know fans of this blog have been waiting for - the Swedes’ Gonzalez versus Manchester’s Thorpe. Seems like Diego is a real fan-favourite over in the Scands - but don’t underestimate the power of a united Manchester.
